Formed in 2024, Antics is a hardcore punk band from Macomb, Michigan built on big riffs, bigger hooks, and unapologetic attitude. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of punk and hard rock while injecting modern intensity, Antics blends speed, melody, and precision into a sound that feels both classic and current. Influenced by bands like Suicidal Tendencies, Minor Threat, Social Distortion and Avenged Sevenfold, their music balances flash with substance and never sacrifices energy.

Antics is made up of Zander Brzuszek (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Cash Brzuszek (Bass), Robert Hoerauf (Rhythm Guitar) and Alex Wamser (Drums). What started as a spark between friends quickly turned into a fully realized band, driven by self-taught determination, sharp songwriting instincts, and a shared vision of bringing true punk beliefs back to live rock shows.

On stage, Antics delivers a tight, high-energy, arena-style performance, complete with leather/torn aesthetics, crowd-ready choruses, and relentless momentum. Their songs explore themes of women, heartbreak, and rebellion, blending personal emotion with bold, larger-than-life delivery. The result is a live show that’s equal parts polished and dangerous — built to be felt, shouted, and remembered.

The band has already opened for the DEAD BOYS, Sponge and The Custodians, performed at venues like The Diesel, The Sanctuary and The Token Lounge, and maintains a close friendship with Jeff Gutt of Stone Temple Pilots and Jonny Two Bags from Social Distortion. With upcoming shows and music releases, Antics is positioning itself as one of Michigan’s most promising rising punk acts.
